When I try to open *.pdf files on a Mac, a blank window pops up. What am I doing wrong?

Nothing. Adobe provided browser support in OS X with Acrobat Reader 7, and only for the Safari web browser. OS X does not support older versions of Acrobat Reader. If you are not using Safari, click to save *.pdf files to your desktop and then open the files within Acrobat Reader.

I cannot play files that are labeled *.swf.
You may need to download the free Adobe Shockwave Player plug-in.
