Introduction

The image below depicts UAW officials passing food to the sit-down strikers in Fisher Body Plant No. 1. The several hundred men who occupied the Fisher No. 1, Fisher No. 2, and Chevrolet No. 4 plants in Flint needed massive logistical support to keep the strike going.
